For a Tortilla:

  • 800 g Potatoes
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Salt


  1. Brush the potatoes and cut them into very thin slices. Pour some oil into a flat pan and fry the potatoes for a short while. 
  2. Mix the eggs with the salt and the chopped onion and add the potatoes. Mix well, then pour back into the pan and form a round cake with a spatula. Cover and fry for 10-15 minutes. Then turn over with the help of a plate, put it upside down on the cake and turn the pan quickly over, then slide the cake back into the pan. Fry covered for another 10 minutes and serve.
