Ingredients:

  • 3 cups fresh blackberries
  • 3 cups yogurt cheese (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk ( 14 ounce can, it's fine if it's a bit more or a bit less)

Direction:

  1. In a blender, puree the blackberries with the sweetened condensed milk.
  2. In a medium bowl mix the puree with the yogurt cheese.
  3. Pour the mixture in to your ice-cream maker and follow the manufacturer's directions.

  2. When it was made in a cuisinart ice cream maker, it didn't have the consistency of frozen yogurt, more like a smoothie. So when I put it in the freezer it froze hard like ice. Maybe this would work better in an old fashioned 8 hour ice cream maker but this just tasted to me like flavored Greek yogurt you would eat for breakfast. What can I do differently? It was in the cuisinart maker for about 30 mins which is what the instructions say...help!
