Champurrado




Ingredients

  • 1 cup masa prepared with Maseca Corn Masa Mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate, chopped

Preparation 

  1. Dissolve the masa in water; strain and cook on low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Add brown sugar and chocolate; mix well until sugar is dissolved and chocolate melted. Boil for 2-3 minutes, remove from heat and serve.
