Stuffed Fish Ukrainian Recipe

1 kg fish
2 egg yolks
200 g dairy cream
100 g carrots
100 g onion
dill greens

Wash and scale fish, make a cut on a fish back, peel it and separate flesh from fishbones.
Put fish flesh through a meat grinder, add egg yolks, pepper, dairy cream, salt and mix it all very well.
Fill a fish jacket closely with prepared stuffing.
Put the stuffed fish, chopped carrots and onion into a saucepan, pour fish broth over it and simmer to readiness.
Cut the cooked fish into slices, place it on a dish and decorate with dill greens and carrots.

  1. Good procedure on preparing this fish. Mmm.. Adding a little lemon juice will help remove its fishy smell and taste, it wouldn't hurt as the dairy cream will balance the lemon juices' flavor.
