Té con Leche (Tea with Milk)


  • 2 teabags
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups boiling milk
  • Sugar, to taste


  1. Heat 2 cups of water to boiling.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk just to boiling, and remove from heat.
  3. Place tea bags into 2 separate cups.
  4. Pour the water into cups, filling ⅓ of cup.
  5. Let the tea steep (soak) for 5 minutes, then remove bag.
  6. Fill the rest of the cup with the hot milk.
  7. Add sugar to taste.
Recipe may be doubled or tripled, to serve more guests.
Serves 2.
